Peace to ALL Creatures BIG and SMALL. This is one of my favorite quotes, so I had to hand letter this with the idea of designing it for a Christmas card. I approached this by thinking of what might be iconic or symbolic for each of the main words. I came up with olive leaves for Peace. For the words: creatures, big, small -I decided to have each word represent different types of creatures and design my letters accordingly. Feathers for Creatures. Scales for BIG. Fur for Small. I drew all the words with ink than colored them digitally.
